What Is PayLater by Grab?

PayLater by Grab offers flexibility in two ways:

PayLater Instalments — pay only 1/4 of your total today, and the rest across 4 monthly instalments.
PayLater Postpaid — purchase today, and pay for it next month in one bill.

How It Works

Add your items to cart and proceed to checkout.
Select GrabPayLater as your payment method.
Confirm and authenticate securely through Grab.
Choose to pay now, next month (Postpaid), or over 4 interest-free instalments.

Am I Eligible for PayLater?

Grab users are generally eligible for PayLater if they:

Are 21 years of age or older;
Hold a Platinum, Gold, or Silver GrabRewards tier membership; and
Have used a credit or debit card for at least 3 Grab transactions in the recent month.

If you're eligible, you can activate PayLater directly in your Grab app: go to Payments, then tap "Enjoy Now and Pay Later" under Explore GrabPay. If you don't see this option, PayLater may not yet be available to your account.

Is There a Cost to Using PayLater?

The 4-month instalment plan is completely interest-free — no interest, no processing fees, as long as you pay on time. If you choose the 8 or 12-month plan, a 1.5% processing fee per instalment applies. This gives you the flexibility to choose the plan that best fits your budget, whether that's a shorter interest-free split or a longer, lower-monthly-payment option for bigger purchases.

Rewards

GrabRewards points are earned on PayLater Postpaid transactions. PayLater Instalments don't currently earn points, but keep an eye out for ongoing Grab promotions.

Returns & Refunds with PayLater

You can return an order paid for with PayLater, provided it meets the conditions in our Refund Policy. Refunds are first used to offset any current PayLater balance; any excess is refunded to your GrabPay Wallet. If your PayLater Postpaid bill for the relevant month has already been paid, the refund is credited to your GrabPay Wallet the following month instead.

How Do I Settle My PayLater Bill?

PayLater transactions are billed and deducted automatically from your GrabPay Wallet. If your wallet balance is insufficient, Grab will top it up from your linked card and deduct the amount automatically — this will appear as a Grab transaction on your card statement. You can view upcoming due dates anytime in your Grab app under Payment → PayLater.
